Visual Inspection Test Setup

Visual inspection can be a valuable tool for determining the causes of PV module failures as well as identifying future issues that may lead to PV module failure. The goal of this inspection is to prevent defects that are readily visible and pose a foreseeable risk to the long-term performance and safety of the solar module. Visual inspection is the most efficient and rapid method of detecting failures and defects in a PV module. It takes three to five minutes and is repeated multiple times across all test classifications, making it the most common test.
