This HV Tester is unique in the fact that it is provided with an indigenously designed fixture to RCCB with the facility to test the di electric strength between:
Test 1:- HV apply across terminals
Test 2:- HV apply between terminals of adjacent poles.
Test 3: HV apply between terminals of all poles and enclosures.
Protection has assumed a large importance in the power industry in the recent years. This protection involves the use of relays on a large scale. Relays are basically used to give commands to circuit breakers, contactors, etc by sensing different parameters like current, voltage, etc. Just as electrical circuits may range from a few watts to 100 megawatts, the size and rating of the relays vary considerably. Study of relays is now being included in the engineering curriculum. M/S SCR Elektroniks have developed demonstration units for different types of relays such as under protection/over protection relay, temperature protection relay, motor protection relays, AC/DC relays and contactors keeping the engineering curriculum in view.
The set up is designed to carry out the test as per IS : 13779 – 1999, Clause 11.2, for DC Components in AC Current Circuit. For balancing the Circuit Meter similar to ( identical ) to Meter Under Test is used and Swamping Load is used for better accuracy.
Thermal Cycling Power Supply IEC 61730-2 applicable standard: 2016 MST- 51, MST- 52 Power Supply with Thermal Cycling Used for Thermal Cycle and Humidity-Freeze Testing, as well as to verify the stability of solar modules under different temperature variations by identifying temperature variations that cause malfunctions such as reduced output power, open circuits, or insulation problems. Setting temperature cycling variations and corresponding voltage outputs for the temperature cycling test is a time-consuming task.
The SCR Elektroniks RCCB Temperature Rise and Power Loss Test Bench is economically designed to verify temperature rise and measure power loss as per clause 9.8.1 of IEC 61008.
Tracking Index Test Machine from SCR ELEKTRONIKS is a popular product for checking compliance of solid insulating material as per IEC 60112, UL 746A, ASTM D3638 and DIN 53480. With a high voltage applied between two platinum electrodes, the solid insulating part is placed such that there is a 4mm gap between the electrodes touching the insulating material under test. The high voltage is settable up to 600V or 1200V depending on model. Drops of contaminant are poured on to the electrodes while voltage is applied. With time, it’s evaluated on the criteria outlined in IEC 60112 or the equivalent national standard with which the insulating material is required to comply with.
